View our wellbeing brochureWith our staff being our number one asset, Amarinth is focussed on our social responsibility within our company, local community and our impacts on the wider world. We uphold the highest standards of safety within our workplace, and look after the wellbeing of our staff as a priority.
We are active in our local community, supporting local charities and organisations and allow our staff the time to volunteer for good causes, supporting them with resource and time. We also encourage a sustainable workplace, initiate local environmental projects, and provide training to better understand the social and environmental impacts individuals and the company creates.
We work closely with customers and clients to deliver end products that are environmentally as efficient as possible as well as creating a socially responsible supply chain.
Our staff are our most import asset, this is what different members of the team have to say about working here.
I have worked for Amarinth for seven years, it is by far the best Company I have worked for. From the camaraderie and teamwork of all colleagues, the expertise of others to the openness of the Directors, all of these factors ensure an end quality product for our customers.
Adrian Kendall,I prepare quotations, provide technical support and clarifications for large value project orders. I also have a part time role as the Health and Safety Manager. Every day is different, the job is varied and interesting and I work with a good team of people who are friendly and always willing to help.
Tom Ward,I get massive enjoyment researching and fulfilling our customer needs. Whether servicing existing pumps to prolong their life or providing parts for an urgent pump repair, preventing costly factory shut downs. I provide advice to our customers, ensuring that they have the right mix of spares available to them for scheduled maintenance.
Justine Rudolph,In the fourteen years that I have been a test bay engineer and subsequently supervisor, I have been fortunate enough to be part of the expansion and investment of both equipment and data capturing capabilities of the tailored test facility.
Stuart Abbot,Being a part of the contracts / documentation department of Amarinth has been amazing, the atmosphere that the management team have shaped within the company is professional, open and friendly, making coming to work enjoyable, which has been very important for my well-being.
Gary Bunce,We believe that personal development and well-being in and outside of the workplace is essential in creating a happy and engaged workforce. We encourage and allow paid time to help in the community, especially with environmental restoration projects, we actively encourage charity work, and create a fun environment with regular company barbecues and fun days. We also have family days and distribute out Christmas hampers. We implement training plans for all staff members to increase their skill set, offer training on a free basis every third Friday and pay for external courses for health and safety and first aid. This all adds up to a workforce that can constantly learn new skills whilst looking after their overall well-being.
As part of the Greenways Countryside Project, Amarinth employees recently volunteered for work at Stoke Park Wood, Ipswich.
Every Christmas all members of staff receive a hamper and other goodies, as part of our environmental initiative everyone received a bird box for the garden as well.
When the weather is good we have regular lunchtime barbecues for birthdays and to just bring the office together in the fresh air and sunshine.
Well done to Amarinth's Archie for completing 7 Triathlons in 7 Days to raise money for Cancer Research. In between working on the 'Fasteners' project as part of Amarinth's student project placement in September Archie raised over £4000 for the charity. Great effort Archie.
Lunchtime fun with this years Amarinth ‘Highland Games'. Thanks to our very own ‘Rob Roy' Justine for organising a brilliant event and wonderful hot haggis lunch!

Over four years my role has developed to give me more variety and additional responsibilities. I like the way Amarinth encourages its employees to learn and expand in their role, for example I'm a member of the environmental committee.
