Healthcare providers face an ever increasing need to reduce costs and one area of concern for both new build and established hospitals is the energy costs associated with the heating systems. A condensate recovery unit (CRU) is a proven way to reduce energy costs as it collects hot condensate from the steam system and returns it back to the boiler plant to be used as boiler feed.

In existing hospitals, many of these systems were commissioned over 20 years ago and in so are reaching the end of the reliable working lives, however in most cases the CRUs and associated pipework and systems are sound.

Amarinth’s range of long and close coupled horizontal and vertical pumps are compliant with ISO 5199 and ISO 9906 and carry full ATEX compliance. Amarinth’s range of pumps and CRUs incorporate the latest technologies for optimum reliability and efficiency. We can also provide a plug-and-play pumps for existing systems, such as those from Spirax Sarco, enabling our pumps to be installed without any modification to CRUs, pipework or baseplates. The cost savings of this are significant, up to 80% compared to installing a new system whilst extending the life of the system for a further 20+ years.

We work exclusively with UK foundries for all castings to ensure consistently high quality and manufacture all critical components within the UK.
