Girdlestone 930 Pump
The Amarinth equivalent of the Girdlestone 930 Process Range consists of single stage, end suction, centrifugal pumps with centre-line mounting. The pumps are of back pull out design which allows the complete rotating assembly to be removed, without disturbing the suction or discharge pipe-work. In addition all pumps, except 25mm outlet types, include the unique 900 Series front access feature, which allows the impeller and seal assembly to be withdrawn from the suction end. These practical design features enable routine maintenance to be carried out with minimal downtime.
The modular construction provides a high degree of interchangeability and commonality of parts with other pumps in the 900 Series.
The 930 pump range is robustly designed to ISO 5199 specification. Pumps are available to cover maximum working pressures of either 25 bar (medium duty) or 40 bar (heavy duty). Wetted parts are of cast iron Gd 220 or stainless steel type 316, with a 329 duplex stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve as standard. Alternatively, any castable and machinable alloy can be used.
The 900 Series design provides the optimum seal environment and allows most types of single, double or tandem seals to be fitted.
Using modern computer aided design software the pumps are designed as a heavy duty, minimal wear, long life pump. Conceived as a modular design, with a number of options available, ensures full compliance with a customer's exact requirements and specifications. A heavy duty baseplate helps achieve low vibration and noise levels which in turn extends the pump's life and ensures maximum running time.
The pumps can be fitted with a variety of proprietary components (i.e. seals, motors and couplings) from all the major manufacturers to cater for customers site preferences. Double mechanical seal arrangements can be fitted with a seal support system attached. This can be supplied by Protect System, which is designed and manufactured by Amarinth, or if required another manufacturers' seal support system can be provided for Amarinth to install and fit.
To complete the package a full range of standard material options from cast iron and stainless steel, to super duplex and hastelloy are available to match your process fluid. NACE and NORSOK compliant materials are also available. Standard documentation packs including manufacturing data books, material certification, installation and operating manuals are available to suit the application. Various NDE (non destructive examination) and NDT (non destructive testing) options are offered to ensure full compliance to our customer's specifications. Alternative bespoke packages can be tailored to fit your exact requirements.
