Offshore Technology Conference 2026

Last week Amarinth’s Senior Sales Manager Jack Riseborough attended the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas.

This four day event provided valuable insight into the evolving offshore market and upcoming projects on the horizon.

Here at the EIC’s Annual Breakfast, the panel provided a great introduction into the event, discussing how technology will reshape delivery, how sustainability should compliment existing energy streams, and the importance of maximising existing infrastructure before significant greenfield investment is considered.

With a strong outlook for FPSO project sanctioning; 12 expected in 2026 alone and all on fast paced schedules to ensure production continues growth trajectory; the offshore market is far from reaching peak demand.

Alongside this, focus remains on LNG growth (but with a new perspective from large datacentres) in parallel with a heavy focus from operators on subsea Tieback scopes for boosting oil production, without the need for significant capital investment on new surface infrastructure.

As the market shifts and demand for oil supply increases, early engagement of supply chain is crucial to integrate value and technical innovation.
