Coronavirus update – 31st March

Amarinth Pumps e-News Header Image

Dear Customers, Following our update on 17th March many changes have occurred within the UK which are impacting customers directly or as part of their own supply chain capability.

Amarinth is committed to regularly keep all customers fully briefed on any changes or developments as we fully understand the importance of ensuring continuity and control during this challenging period.

The following measures are currently being taken to support our Customers, Staff and the Industries which continue to rely on us and the services we provide.

Technical engineering, evaluation and support

All Technical Design, Sales and Engineering staff from offices in the UK, Middle East and Malaysia are now successfully working remotely and have full network connectivity to Amarinth’s software platforms, video conferencing and secure server access. By enacting our contingency plan effectively over the past 10 days we have ensured we can provide an uninterrupted service and have been doing this for the past 7 working days.

Our main sales and service team can continue to be contacted direct on +44 (0) 1394 462 120

Stock Availability and Pump Spares

Our stock levels remain full for immediate spare parts held at our UK Head Office. We have not identified any critical sub-supplier products or services that could currently adversely impact our ability to fulfill an order, and we have taken the appropriate measures—where required—to divert supply from current high-risk countries such as Italy and Spain, by prioritising our UK supply chain fully. Our local suppliers—within a 50-mile radius of the UK Manufacturing Plant—continue to remain open and we are working closely with all suppliers by following the Governments additional distancing and sanitising measures.

Pump Manufacturing & Assembly

With both our main assembly plant and testing facilities, we have followed the Government guidelines and cordoned off areas to ensure safe working for the critical engineering staff. This has allowed us to maintain the continuity of our manufacturing whilst meeting the safe distance protocol.

Visitors and Employee Screening

We have a minimum staff presence at our head office to ensure pre-booked and essential visitors to Amarinth comply with the additional hygiene provisions, and key activities such as witness inspections and deliveries can take place. All visitors are asked in advance to complete a screening questionnaire that must be returned before access to the offices can be granted.

In addition, the structured routine of daily sanitising of door handles, workstations, phones, and computers continues throughout the premises.

Support to all our Customers

All measures to-date are designed to minimise any disruption to your supply, should this be for an existing order, sales enquiry or technical evaluation, and we will continue to strive to provide the best level of service possible. We will continue to monitor the situation as the global situation develops and provide a regular update via our Website.

We appreciate your understanding during this time and are confident that our current measures and policies will allow us to deliver the service that you and your market expect.

Best regards

Oliver Brigginshaw
Managing Director
