Coronavirus update – 15th April

Amarinth Pumps e-News Header Image

Please read our latest update detailing the continuing changes and developments being made to help in significantly reducing any adverse impact to our customers as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions within the UK and across the globe.

Amarinth remains committed to keeping all customers fully briefed on any changes or developments, as we fully understand the importance of ensuring continuity to business during this period.

Our latest measures have been actively adopted to support our Customers, Staff and the Industries which continue to rely on all the services we provide.

Technical engineering, Sales evaluation and support

90% of the entire global Amarinth workforce continues to successfully work remotely, with full network connectivity to Amarinth’s software platforms, video conferencing and secure servers. We have continued to support our Customers through active Video Conferencing since the 16th March, and have successfully coordinated numerous technical evaluation meetings, existing contract progress meetings as well as new enquiry sales alignment presentations. Feedback from our customers has been extremely positive as we continue to support and organise new user access and set-up weekly.

If you wish to talk to us using our Video platform we can quickly and easily set this up. Please contact us direct on +44 (0) 1394 462 120.

Stock levels, Manufacturing and Assembly

We continue to leverage the strong and positive historic sub-supplier relationships you’ve come to expect, and remain in daily contact with all our local and national suppliers to keep up to date on adverse changes. Like us, many of our local sub-suppliers are willing to accommodate safe and agile ways of working which both exceed the Government's additional distancing and sanitising measures set out by the CMO, as well as ensuring critical delivery milestones can remain on target.

We have successfully adopted flexible packing arrangements for all Air, Freight and Sea goods by fully vacating one of our assembly buildings to allow our packing sub-supplier to work freely and avoid any potential cross-contamination. This has resulted in us continuing to achieve 100% on-time delivery since the beginning of March.

Visitors, Screening and Virtual access

As you would expect, visitor levels to our main head office in the UK have significantly reduced in the past 4 weeks and we continue to adopt the additional hygiene and advance screening protocol for all pre-booked essential visitors and supplier deliveries. A full risk assessment of all ‘Goods Inwards’ has been carried out in partnership with our suppliers and has resulted in all daily deliveries being placed in a quarantine hold area before being booked into the business.

Over the past month we have also invested and set up enhancements to our existing Web access to allow critical pump witness and test signoff to take place without the need of the Customer or TPI (Third Party Inspector) being present. Already this month we have utilised this ‘real-time’ service which has allowed the Inspectors to both witness and view the live test results as they have been performed.

Support to all our Customers

These measures are designed to minimise any disruption to your supply and overall experience, and we will continue to monitor the situation to the best of our ability as this global situation develops.

We appreciate your understanding during this time, and are confident that our current measures and policies will allow us to deliver the service that you and your market expects.

Regards
