Coronavirus update – 13th January
Dear Customers, With the latest government COVID-19 guidelines coming into effect from 5th January we find the UK once again entering into another phase of national lockdown. As with our regular customer updates throughout the entire pandemic period we would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of our customers that we remain fully open for business as we have done throughout 2020.
The following will give you added confidence that we have continued to act at pace not only to help mitigate any potential adverse impacts due to COVID restrictions but also in preparation for the UK’s exit from the European Union which took effect on 01st January.
As early as May 2020 Amarinth had implemented numerous changes to maximise staff, visitor and supplier safety throughout all our premises to ensure collection, delivery services and witness inspections remained fully functional whilst exceeding the UK governments health and safety COVID-secure policies and guidelines.
These measures enabled us to maintain full operational services throughout 2020 and achieve on-time delivery throughout the year of 96% - measured to the contractual day.
To help reduce unnecessary travel, mitigate the spread of the virus and offer customers the option to witness their goods during factory acceptance, performance testing or final packing Amarinth developed their IT systems to enable full ‘real time’ automated testing. This service has, as you would imagine been fully utilised during 2020 with over 90% of customers requesting remote testing and witnessing via the Amarinth live streaming and data-share platform.
This service will continue to be promoted throughout 2021 to give customers added peace of mind that their staff are protected whilst maintaining the delivery schedule.
Engineering, Sales evaluation and support

For almost 20 years Amarinth have continued to supply customers internationally with direct products and services so are well versed in the preparation, management and supply of goods across the world. The UK’s recent departure from the European Union therefore provides no significant challenges in how Amarinth can support customer who remain within the Union and we are well advanced in the transition.
In preparation for January, we have already completed all necessary steps with our sub suppliers, forwarding agents, national and local chambers to minimise any adverse impacts now the transfer of goods between the UK and the European Union have changed.
Stock Levels, Manufacturing & Assembly
Our stock levels continue to be managed to ensure optimum volumes for critical components for immediate dispatch and the Assembly and Testing facilities remain fully operational with all staff working safely within the updated guidelines.
Visitors, Screening and returning to offices
All staff and any visitors are asked to comply with clearly signposted protective measures throughout all buildings. Visitors are obliged to wear a mask throughout their visit as well as the necessary PPE in accordance with the sites protocol, all of which can be viewed on our latest Health and Safety video and visitors’ guidelines document found on our company Website.
