Coronavirus update – 10th November

With new COVID-19 guidelines announced, we have just entered another lockdown in England. As with our regular updates throughout this pandemic, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of our customers that we remain fully open for business as usual.

Our continued commitment to support you with all of our engineering expertise and services across the globe, and to help maintain you and your customer needs remain at the core of Amarinth, which all customers will have recognised as far back as March 2020, when we first made changes to guarantee we remained open and at full capacity, despite many of our competitors being forced to close.

There have been numerous changes to maximise staff, visitor, and supplier safety throughout our premises and to ensure collection/delivery services are fully functional; in addition, we continue to meet all the UK government’s health and safety COVID-secure policies and guidelines.

Technical engineering, Sales evaluation and support

All technical Sales and Engineering teams are available on demand to support all new and existing customers. Anyone of our team will be happy to discuss immediate needs via our main enquiry number +44(0)1394 462120, and can arrange direct telephone or video conferencing support on request.


Stock Levels, Manufacturing & Assembly

Our direct supplier network remains at full capacity, with many experiencing an uplift in urgent or critical support. As we now enter the last few weeks of 2020, Amarinth’s order book and new order volumes remain at a strong level, having adopted new ways of working to ensure minimum delivery impact. During October we successfully output the second largest order volume in the Company’s 18-year history and achieved an on-time delivery of 97%.

Investment in a new state-of-the-art video system, means that any customer and/or TPI (Third Party Inspector) has the option to carry out detailed and precise witness testing remotely using real-time data and visual feeds. Such has been the positive response to this service, we are now offering it on all new orders with delivery dates far into 2021.


Visitors, Screening and Virtual access

We keep an active eye on the Government announcements regarding safe return to work for those staff currently working remotely, and are ready to introduce a controlled return when needed, in accordance with the CMO – Chief Medical Officer’s – recommendations.

These measures continue to ensure minimum disruption whilst maintaining full service and quality standards throughout the current lockdown and beyond.
