Behind the Build: A Closer Look at the Soku LNG Bespoke Support Plate Before Dispatch
Following our recent announcement regarding the successful completion of the high-specification chemical skid support plate for the Soku LNG field in Nigeria, we are pleased to share a closer look at the engineering and craftsmanship that went into this unique project just prior to dispatch.
In the fast-track oil and gas sector, seeing a complex engineering concept transition from digital design to heavy-duty reality is always a milestone. Captured here at our Suffolk site, the bespoke support plate showcases the robust structural engineering required to withstand the demanding operational environment of the Nigerian energy sector.
Because the support plate had to fit a highly restrictive existing footprint while guaranteeing absolute structural integrity for the chemical skid, the manufacturing phase required exceptional precision. Amarinth’s engineering teams worked to extremely high tolerances, ensuring that alignment and structural load capacities perfectly matched the customer's stringent specifications.
Sharing this image of the completed assembly before it was disassembled and securely packed in a standard shipping container for international logistics, highlights Amarinth's capacity to design, manufacture, and quality-assure world-class, bespoke engineering solutions, and is as another example of our ability to deliver reliable, custom-engineered solutions on time and to the highest global standards.
