The world has been through a difficult period and we are looking forward to some normality returning through 2010. However, in 2009 we had a successful year and delivered into a number of prestigious and demanding projects, completing them on-time and on-budget and thanks to you, our customers, we have a healthy order book and some more interesting projects on the horizon.
Underlining its on-going growth in the Middle-East, Amarinth recently secured orders for $4M (USD) of pumps from Petrofac, one of the largest EPC contractors in the world. The ASAB project, the biggest on-shore project ever awarded in the region, is to upgrade existing facilities enabling the operator Abu Dhabi Company for Oil Operations (ADCO) to increase production capacity to a peak rate of 720,000 barrels per day of stabilised crude oil. The pumps will operate in particularly demanding conditions, including low NPSH duties. The order included:
