Amarinth strengthens commitment to UK nuclear future as a member of the Sizewell C Consortium
Amarinth is delighted to have an active involvement in the Sizewell C Consortium supporting the development of what will be a cornerstone of the UK’s future energy security. This group of over 200 leading UK nuclear supply-chain companies is united in the goal of delivering the Sizewell C nuclear power station in Suffolk.
Sizewell is located just a few miles from our headquarters in Rendlesham, Suffolk, allowing us to offer rapid response and on-site support, which is invaluable for the demanding operational schedules of nuclear facilities. We are also a verified Fit for Nuclear (F4N) supplier demonstrating our compliance with the stringent operational excellence and quality standards required by the UK nuclear sector.
Our involvement in the Consortium follows numerous successes in supplying bespoke pumps to EDF Energy for Sizewell B and other nuclear sites that EDF operates around the UK. Many of these pumps, designed to replace obsolete equipment from a previous manufacturer, were engineered to fit existing infrastructure with minimal modification, a testament to Amarinth’s ability to deliver technically advanced, fully compliant solutions for critical national infrastructure.
As a Suffolk-based business, we see first-hand the positive impact this project will have on the regional economy and the nationwide supply chain. Our experience with Sizewell B and our F4N accreditation ensure we are ready to support the construction and long-term operation of Sizewell C as the UK transitions toward a net-zero future.
