Amarinth Delivers Another Critical Pump to EDF Energy for Sizewell B
Amarinth is delighted to support EDF Energy’s Sizewell B nuclear power station in Suffolk with the delivery of another high-performance vertical in-line pump. This pump, part of a multi-million-pound overhaul of the facility by EDF, underscores our commitment to ensuring the continued efficiency of this vital clean energy source
Sizewell B generates 3% of the UK’s electricity annually, enough zero-carbon power for over 2.5 million homes. This latest delivery is one of three Amarinth pumps ordered by EDF to strengthen the station’s operational resilience and long-term output.
With our facilities being located near Sizewell, EDF engineers were able to oversee stringent witness testing at our test bay, ensuring each pump meets the exacting quality and supply standards required for decades of reliable service.
As the UK advances toward its clean energy goals, we are proud to play a part in supporting critical infrastructure like Sizewell B, and Sizewell C which is now under construction, helping to deliver sustainable power for millions of homes.
