Amarinth Delivers £1.5M Chemical Injection Skid Order for Nigeria’s LNG Fields

Amarinth has successfully completed the manufacture and delivery of a £1.5 million order for four bespoke API 675 chemical injection skid packages.

Destined for Nigeria’s Soku and Gbaran LNG fields in the Niger Delta, these units are critical to the long-term integrity of assets operated by Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited.

The Niger Delta presents some of the most arduous operating conditions globally. To meet these challenges, the skids, delivered in two specialised packages, will perform precision chemical injection duties:

- Package 1: Biocide Injection Skid and Oxygen Scavenger Injection Skid.

- Package 2: Biocide Injection Skid and Scale Inhibitor Injection Skid.

Built to API 675 standards, the skids feature sophisticated instrumentation, including actuated valves and remote monitoring transmitters, allowing for precise dosing from central control rooms.

Recognising the logistical and site-specific challenges of the region, our engineering team developed several bespoke solutions:

- Seamless Integration: For the Soku LNG field, we engineered a bespoke frame that fits over the facility's existing concrete plinths, allowing integration without costly civil works.

- Ready-to-Run Delivery: Each unit was fully pre-assembled and factory-tested in our UK facilities to ensure it arrived ready for immediate commissioning, minimising on-site labour.

-Containerised Shipping: The skids were engineered to fit within standard shipping containers, ensuring they could be transported via Nigerian road networks without special permits, significantly reducing lead times and costs.

The project was supported through a successful collaboration with Elkarino Nigeria Ltd., bridging the gap between international design excellence and regional operational expertise. The entire contract was delivered within a demanding 39-week timeframe.
