As the world transition for a more sustainable future, we have instigated several actions at Amarinth head office to set an example of our sustainability credentials. These range from local environmental improvements like creating a wild flower meadow for bees, to designing more efficient pumps to our facility being powered completely from renewable sources.

We are carbon neutral at our head office using our own solar array, and when required back up power from the local biomass power plant.
Both our assembly and test bay buildings are also carbon neutral deriving power from the same solar array and biomass power station, thus requiring no power from the national grid.

Commitment From Staff

From cycling to work to recycling in the workplace right through to finding the most sustainable solutions for our customers, our staff are on the frontline and committed to improving sustainability across the company.

Our cycle to work scheme provides facilities and incentives for our staff to peddle to work all year round.
Our office culture revolves around everyday sustainability from reducing the amount of printed paper to our very active recycling schemes.
We also actively encourage staff to make changes in their home lives, from distributing bees wax wrapping for food, to locally made bird boxes to encourage wild life at home.

Company Vehicles

Our salesmen and directors naturally spend time visiting customers and suppliers, to combat the CO2 emissions we are committed to electrifying our company vehicles, and through a company scheme give the whole workforce access to affordable electric vehicles.

All of our company vehicles will be hybrid or electric.
We provide onsite charging for all our company vehicles, the electricity for this comes from our solar array.

Travel accounts for a huge amount of unnecessary CO2 emissions in business, to combat this we have set up state of the art web cameras to allow witnessing, and meetings from anywhere on Earth.

Our test bay is equipped with multiple high resolution cameras which allows for remote witness testing of our pumps. This eliminates the need for officials to travel, often long haul, to our facility for testing purposes.
Remote meetings are standard, both for internal and external communication, again reducing emissions from travel.
